the concept
Conceived by Accarain & Bouillot and following on the concept that was the basis of their winning entry for the National competition held in 2004 by the regional and local authorities, JetLofts is the latest project derived from the successful Victoria Lofts formula.
The complex integrates 3 separate buildings which are: a former tobacco drying plant which is to be converted to 31 separate lofts, The Directors house which will be transformed into lofts and the former garage area which will be demolished and rebuilt into approx. 25 stylish apartments.
The site offers wonderful extensive garden areas which will be landscaped by Vaxelaire & Deckers and whilst being shared of all the residents of JetLofts will be enclosed so as to provide secure private spaces for the residence. The construction of the building will be almost entirely new build benefiting from the signature large window areas for which Victoria Lofts projects are renowned.
Two other important signature characteristics from which JetLofts will benefit will be the 57 fully secured underground parking spaces discretely designed so as to be out of sight and convieniently allocated to specific residents. The fitness gymnasium for the exclusive use of the proprietors.
JetLofts will cover a surface area of more than 6000 m2, offering the architects the opportunity to realise a design offering space and distance between the buildings which will cover 2000 m2.
The lofts and apartments will benefit from attractive comtemporary balconies and terraces as well as innovative and airy walk-ways and staircases connecting the various buildings.
The whole complex will benefit from a secured entry / exit system, ensuring easy access to residents and their guests but offering privacy from uninvited intrusion as well as a safe haven for children and older people who can enjoy the landscaped gardens and play areas safe from harm.
